I joined the Wheelers in 1979 at the tender age of 15 and stayed until 1984 taking up jobs on the committee and vice-club run captain.

Left to join the Dinnington for 4 years whilst I tried to road race (which I gave up as a bad job in the end due to the fact I can't corner!)

Re-joined the Wheelers and have stayed ever since, being the secretary for 8 years. (standing down in 2004) and original creator of the Wheelers Web site.

When the Scunthorpe track is rideable I race the track league on a Friday night and time trial when I can, through the year.
