I started cycling in about May 2003 and I joined Doncaster Wheelers in July 2003 I was just cycling for enjoyment, but rode the back of the tandem in the August and September managing to do a 22:43 in only my second attempt at racing. Then over the winter I did very little, in the march i started going out Levi and Alex but still enjoying just riding my bike.

Then in May Istarted riding club 10`s think beating 30 minutes as a marker in my first solo ride a 28:44 was achieved by the end of the club 10 series a 26:09 was acheived.

Within the year I qualified for the GHS national final through being a member of the winning team at the district round.

The encouragement i have had off members of the club has been appreciated. 3/10 I acheived my longest ride to date of 70 miles what will i do when i`am as old as trev !!!

I am now trying to get a good winter in by going out on the club run as often as possible.
